Child of The Universe ~Earth Child

Child of The Universe ~Earth Child

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

Dedicated to fellow W.C...Star Child

earthchild

You are from all corners of the Universe
Oh precious Child of this Earth
Your sweet innocence, magic to the soul
You are the bluest of skies and all the trees
The tallest of mountains to the grassy knolls
Your cherished voice is a song in the breeze

Forgive us for ruining your precious lands
In all the regions of this world you teach
We are touched by your child’s precious hand
You are the brightness of the sun
Playing among the stars and moon
Join people together make us one

Your Mother is our precious Earth
Your Father, our great World
They joined together giving you birth
We’ve been invited to be your guests
But you and your family are our Hosts
Making your vision our Earthly quest

Should we wonder who or what we are
We are all children of The Universe
We are the Moon, we are the Stars

Oh child of the Universe
Spread your wings fly high in the sky
Hover over us as we feel your breeze
Fly from tree to tree, paint the sky
Sing your music, resonate our souls

With God and Nature you converse
Make us smile make us whole
O child of the Sun the Moon and Stars
We kiss your hand, we bless your soul
