A Renaissance of SeasonsA Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnneA poem about autumn & the changing seasons
I’d like to frolic in the leaves As they sail happily in the air Leaving their sun parched traces in the grass Filled with vibrant colours of oranges and reds Warm brown tucked snugly around their edges Dancing in the breeze, dropping softly in silence As they fall like snowflakes to the ground Amidst the far flung rains Preparing for their winter sleep
Caressing the ground in rosy hues From her tree once filled with lively green She offered her graceful cloak of pagentry
Squirrels gathering acorns Swallows singing in the sky The smell of cider in the air The bud of the grape laden with juice Pumpkins burgeoning through the soil Making themselves ready for rebirth
Her many seasons on hiatus Mother nature ushers in her autumn A season of fruit and wistful dreams That’s what the beauty of the fall shall bring Some are wakened... By Sephiroth the tree of Life Her reincarnation of time While others sleep in autumn deep Waiting for the coming spring To sing its welcoming song Again they'll awaken from their sleep... An ongoing chrysalis... Her renaissance of seasons
