Paint The Woven Canvass Of My Heart

Paint The Woven Canvass Of My Heart

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

Photobucket
The soft woven canvass of my heart
   weave their silken memories
in slow trickles of honeyed colored hues
amongst the soft flowing waves in my soul
magically dancing with a naive heart
as they restlessly stir peeled pages of my mind

She wonders if he thinks of her
   when he's all alone
does he whisper her name
when he’s listening with his heart…
not his mind

If I asked... would you dance with me
   under the starry moonlight
 locked in tender embraces…
   beneath the velvet midnight sky
whispering our echoing lover’s tune?

In Silent footsteps
   come, share your heart
Paint the moon and stars with me
   never allowing past shadows
to steal our new Eden of paradise
We’ll find our hidden passages in the sky
amongst embers of our souls
   that never ceased to burn

Photobucket

Save the last dance for me,
til' we can dance no more
Holding on forever with tender lover’s hearts
Sheathe my heart in silken memories
Wrap my soul in lucid dreams
as you mingle your sweet breath with mine

Won’t you come sit with me a spell
sharing the sea of my soul and soft midnight sighs?
Just come...
  be with me awhile

Wake me from my sleep…
   turn your eyes to mine
Share the crystal ink of tears for the rest of years
I’ll fondly hold you forever in my heart
As I wait...
to share another starry night with you

I'm not an extraordinary woman, simply put... I'm just a normal, ordinary one. In my private life I am gingerly cautious with the people I meet, but fearless in the words I write. Not an extrove.. more..
