Haunted By Nakedness

Haunted By Nakedness

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

Haunted by nakedness…

today I wrote poems about my destiny

perhaps tomorrow I'll write another

In this land of anguish I followed orders

allowing others to conduct my symphony

I break down without doubt

on the edge of tears

sighing and moaning

remembering kisses

signed in blood and regrets

incomplete... with no music

and

over land, sea and air

I struggle with old acquaintances

as I try to get back up off the ground

picture this…

everyone is godforsaken today

I know about His deadlines

it begins all over again and again

I’m looking down the streets of my life

Ssh…

this baby is crying

Crying with tears

mourning for lost years

Do you think Jesus is crying too

About
I'm not an extraordinary woman, simply put... I'm just a normal, ordinary one. In my private life I am gingerly cautious with the people I meet, but fearless in the words I write. Not an extrove.. more..
