Chameleon's Song ~ Now I'm Free

Chameleon's Song ~ Now I'm Free

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne
"

No white nor red was ever seen So am'rous as this lovely green.

"

On the south side of the mountain

the chameleon’s song is playing…

leaving me baffled by its echoing tune

 trying to rewind time…

wishing I could reach up to the sky

and reset the moon

I stand on a lonely hill

looking out at the crimson waves

in the deep, purple sea

No, you weren’t the cure for this Cinderella

not the Prince I set out to find

I was a girl hooked on romance

but I was left shaken in the shadows

as a prelude to nothing left behind

with my heart calling out to memories

of a lost love left behind

I'm not an extraordinary woman, simply put... I'm just a normal, ordinary one. In my private life I am gingerly cautious with the people I meet, but fearless in the words I write. Not an extrove.. more..
