This is about a professor who turned against her student....causing a failed grade instead of fight for her.

I Trusted When We First Met

 

I trusted when we first met

How at ease I was with you

How I tried to prepare

Of what I could and could NOT do

 

I trusted when we first met

That you understood my past

Confided ALL my struggles

Shared desire for education at last

 

I trusted when we first met

That confidence you shared

Your efforts above and beyond

Were simply not to be compared.

 

I trusted when we first met

Fearing nothing you remained on my side

And fight whatever crossed my path

It never occurred to me you’d lie

 

I trusted when we first met

That my writing would need time

Learning everything anew

That plagiarism is sublime

 

I trusted when we first met

A friend and professor you would always be

Now saddened we lost all that trust

Never forgive turning evil against me

 

I trusted when we first met

That one-day we would celebrate

All the hard work that gave way to rise

Can be undone with one little heartbreak

 

Yes I trusted in you … to see me though…

 

I trusted YOU!

Oh thank you! I was very angry fro several weeks. But I had to get that feeling of betrayal out of me. This was the only way...so my poet's feeling sprung int o action! I wrote this quickly with sort of an amazing speed so you know it had to come out! When writing that fast ... what is written is felt and usually true! I agree when the trust is broken ...wow...don't always know what to do...except write! lol So glad you liked it... I do too! Thanks for reading I value your opinion!

Oh wow, nothing worse then to be betrayed by someone you trust and look up to. Some people in a position of power and authority use it for their own greedy needs.

I can't look her in the eye right about now...I tried to write to heal me...she is on vacation and is coming back in a week...I still don't want to see her. She betrayed me! How can I trust her anymore? She is the Director of the program and I ahave to pass so I have to work with her for 7 more weeks...UGH! Thanks for reviewing this..could you tell how hurt I am?

The repetition of, 'I trusted when we first met' just makes the poem and really hits the message home. I hate when a teacher turns against you and it affects your grades and life... It really doesn't sit well with me that your teacher has done this to you, it makes me so mad.

This is really powerful and so very powerful. I hope you get your correct grade and I hope this teacher gets fired.

LOL hahahahaha I can see you are on my side...I did not do anything wrong it is just that things have changed so very much and I don't know the correct way to cite my references....trust me...I am in big trouble so I am not going to worry...I have not been able to say her name or face her....so I had to write to heal...get it? Thanks for reviewing my work this one was important to my heart and I needed to get it out so badly! I think it is written well...can you see my feeling getting hurt here? Yes I do hurt and feel betrayed...she =knew I was not perfect and not a doctorate like my classmates...she knew I would need help with my scientific academic writing...she lied to me. I cannot forgive this...I don't know why???? I just can't right now...maybe in time....

I don't think you can forgive something like that. She is supposed to help you do your best and be there for you when you need help.
