What Kind of JudgeA Poem by LadyAnn68My respect for a judge who made the difference in my life's choices with her helpDedicated To: The (Very) Honorable Judge Mary Jo Francis
The Lady Judge
What kind of judge smiles in a bright way, Saying, “1 dollar a month is perfectly OK”, All the woman with her tiny child could say, “Thank you so much your honor, we CAN comply today!”
What kind of judge looks for the symptoms, Who doesn’t always judge by past convictions? But takes that time to understand, What went wrong in an individual’s plan.
What kind of judge meets it with an eye for an eye, Every story deemed has three sides, Prosecution, defense, and the truth, The good, the bad, the ugly, even the uncouth!
What kind of judge is beaming at the slightest progress, Who doesn’t always ask for more sometimes asks for less, Who might make you wait to give you time to think, So when you get out you don’t immediately fall and sink!
What kind of judge sees you’re treated well, Even with 20 other girls in the same cell, Makes sure your food is well deserved, Makes sure your time is well served.
What kind of judge lets you out on a chance, You know you convinced by the seat of your pants, But a judge you somehow want to make proud, Who helped obtain your dreams from the highest clouds!
What kind of judge that you’ve had before, And find every time you see her you respect her more, One who helped with your negative, difficult positions, One who helped you makes the corrective, right decisions.
What kind of judge? “A JUDGE YOU COULD NEVER REPLACE, Judge Mary Jo Francis!!!!”
