Facing challenge when it arises unexpectedly each day

Survive The Day

 

Survival is the goal

It might take all day

Happens several times a week

Feels like it doesn’t pay

 

Come to a cross roads

Dilemmas of choice

But harder than that

The decision in your voice

 

You think you know

The road to turn

Challenge arises

You didn’t learn

 

Frustrated by indecision

A step closer to using

Even though you held fast

Everyone still accusing

 

Sometimes there is no proof

Belief is hard without trust

So you prioritize

Attend a meeting you must

 

So the challenge IS survival

Added with decision making

Next time pick up a pen and paper

Show beauty and strength by words creating

 

It solves a couple of problems

Not only helps surviving

But show to all the rest

Baring proof without lying

 

STAY STRONG, FIGHT CHALLENGE, PRAY…YOU CAN SURVIVE EACH DAY!

Thank you so much Edward. I am most pleased that you liked it. I have been in school and just finished for 6 weeks and was so happy to sit and write for the first time in a while. I am somewhat of an inspirational addiction writer....as well as I write to heal myself. But then I just love poetry!

Hi Sam...I was faced with an unexpected challenge when I came to visit my ex and found him dying of severe pneumonia nad other infections. I saved his life but I can't tell you the emotional strain I was under...if he had died in my care???? OMG...I had to write to cure the anxiety I was going through. Ia m so glad you understood it...thank you fro reading....I am exhausted and quite frankly hope the hospital keeps him for a few days...does that sound mean? I am not mean just very perplexed with indecision....how do I explain to his daughter that I just happen to come the moment he was dying??? I feel better now. Thank you for the review.
