Inside Your Smile

 

A vision came to me

Just like the sky meets the sea

An endless horizon that never lands

Only God knows what’s in his hands

 

Walking to a destination place

Of friendship, honor, and of grace

The words came from the deep

In a timeless warp of no sleep

 

The message was loud, the message was clear

It spelled out honesty without fear

A simple existence on common ground

Echoing hearts and kindness found

And there we stayed temporarily lost

Love given freely there was no cost

As soft as the pedal of a rose

It grew strong and we grew close

 

A white winged dove flies above

May all your dreams come with love

I would walk the distance of a mile

Just to live inside your smile

this has such an enchanting, sweet sentiment that resonates beauty and bliss with the one that has captured the heart.. flow is elegant and the phrasing quite charming.. just lovely ma'am...

on a side note.. and totally just sharing my opinion.. for what it is worth..

"Walking to a destination place" (destination and place are kinda same thing right? I know it throws flow off a little, but would change destination to maybe "destined" and fix syllables by describing how you would walk or the place.. again just my opinion...

Of friendship(,) honor and of grace"...would put a comma here, made me stumble a little..
"The words came from the deep"..........next two lines because love alliteration so much and flows better in my head.... would change (the deep) to (down deep)
"In a timeless warp of no sleep"..... would change "of no" to "without"...

ok don't shoot.. walking away.. but before I do, lemme reiterate, this was beautifully romantic and sweet.. well done!!

Oh April...this is the first time I had one minute to write anything and the words came flowing out just like that...obviously I am writing about a man that I love but more than love..to a respected place where friendship is shared and love is free...since I know no where on Earth that this place exists except in my heart...I just wrote what came out...I do see some possibilities for change but not all the same ones you do! let me ponder on it and maybe I will change and add...I have had this on my mind all day! It really wasn't finished but I was so dying to post what was in my heart at that minute...do you know what I am saying....like you want to tell the world about it! Okay..I am a lunatic due to stress of exams coming..I am completely NUTS!
