Late Though It May Be…

 

What can be heard?

Naked caring,

What can be told?

Naked Sharing,

What can be taught?

Naked learning,

What can be bold?

Naked spurning,

What can be had?

Naked yearning!

 

I don’t have to hide behind anyone else’s shadow,

I can lead now yet still I will always follow,

My dreams not my vices,

My education no matter the prices,

Late though it may be,

I am finally happy to just be me!

 

What can be heard?

A hollow sound,

What can be told?

How your feet hit the ground,

What can be taught?

To look all around,

What can be bold?

Leaving that past crowd,

What can be had?

The lost pound!

 

One day at a time can be way to long,

So work with just a step first,

No need to sweat that swindled lost time,

No need to feel a sudden thirst,

Late though it may be you’re finally at a successful thrive

Treasure your passion and be thankful you’re alive!

 

 

What can be heard?

The loving purring of a pet,

What can be told?

Tears you’ve wept,

What can be taught?

To change past steps,

What can be bold?

The prayers you kept,

What can be had?

Achievements you’ve lept!

 

All the roads you’ve traveled in time,

And all those wrong symptoms,

Now you’re no longer young,

You forgot to make any provisions,

Late though it may be you’re finally past those past convictions,

There’s only one pathway now,

Thankful it’s by choice and your own decisions!

 

LATE THOUGH IT MAY BE----I’M FINALLY HAPPY TO JUST BE ME!
