The Woman and a Question
I feel the wind of change blowing in,
I feel the wind of change blowing in,
I find the door so very easy to shut these days. I find the questions tougher to ask these days.
So many wasted nights spent
Are you going to be the one
Not like the white lightning
But the hurricane that sweeps me away with him to nevermore
I stand in a doorway waiting you arrive.
You will have to awaken this beauty my friend
You will have to know the answers to the questions she will ask you
you will have to be ready to ride the whirlwind
A woman of the desert storm,
She is the rain maker
She can find the time to make it rain
If you trust yourself keep on riding that steel monster for here I stand and wait.
