Silent EpidemicA Poem by crystallized illusionsBorn into a body younger than my mentality.Trapped in a cage, With glass all around. I won't move a muscle,
I'll close my eyes, Won't speak a word
Cry my tears of sorrow, But still; Not a word. Mentally, I will ploy.
I have the silent epidemic.
All of them, they call me strange.
But have they ever thought that perhaps I just don't want to speak?
I'd rather keep to myself, Not a trace of teenage insanity, Not hide nor hair!
I'll save discussions for those who care, For those whom won't use it against me and give me weird looks. Oh how those looks feels like hooks...
Can't you at least try not to make me feel different? Try not to make me feel 'totes cray'? Perhaps I just don't have anything to say.
Not a word hath I to construct within the terms of 'fitting in'.
Not a word hath I! ... K? © 2013 crystallized illusionsAuthor's Note
