Listening?
by Tricia Pattinson

So you'd like to hear my voice
The many vibrations sewn into words
With my voice's sweet nectar
I could put out your fire's flame
Or increase it's engulfment

Listen here to what I have to say
My voice is a gift shared with no cost
You cannot entreat it or cajole
You must learn to use your own
But first, spit out your bullshit
