Saturn And Mars CollideA Poem by Tricia Pattinson
Saturn And Mars Collide
by Tricia Pattinson The cries that fill the air Fall as rain from clouds Shattering crowns on the ground From the tops of phallic symbols Shooting guns discharge With global kickbacks cracking The rockets fly Through the center of the Earth Destroying like meteors from within The screams turn silent And power disgraced flees Down the incurable cheater's seek Calls of crackpots unanswered As the guiders of humanity run From the witnesses of destruction © 2014 Tricia Pattinson |
