Perspective on life

Everything seems to be happening
Everywhere I look;
Especially with close family and friends
God I could write a book!

Nothing is more important
Than when it comes to life and death;
Puts everything in perspective
When we count each and ev'ry breath.

So to one hospital goes
My special thoughts tonight;
To a lovely 92 year old lady
Who lost her fight for life.

A personal poem written when we lost a dear family friend. I didn't write it to be perfect, but I wrote it from the heart, so not worried about it being rated. Thanks :-)
