The Black Butterfly

The Black Butterfly

A Poem by Lady Of Darkness

From dusk till dawn
The Black Butterfly sores
Upon its wings are the souls
Left behind, on deaths road

Rip off the wings of the butterfly
For the souls that you stole
Redeem the lives that you hold
Return them to the names unknown

Its majestic black wings have collapsed
Darkness weighs heavily on its back
Shadows of butterflies surround
The black butterfly lying dead on the ground

From dusk till dawn
The black butterfly no longer soars
And In the dark you shall find
Your enemies are lurking behind

I like this. It's dark, but not completely dark...there's a romantic air to this piece.
Well written Honey. A beautiful piece, from a beautiful person :)
