In Memory of Diana

I wrote this the night that she died

 In Memory of Diana

Where once was spring,
will there now be the chilling cold?
Where once was joy,
will there now be the sorrow of the world?

It was a soul,
filled with innocence and love,
invaded then silenced forever.
The brightest of all lights
put out, yet always remembered.

In the midst of true happiness,
arrogance and admiration chased
the caring heart to its end
at the witching hour.

Questions without answers.
Sorrow and an enemy.
Will change then become truth?

Amnesty at last is given.
May she dance with love forever.
