Cursed

Cursed

A Poem by Whiskurz

I wait to see what I have done
The darkness blocks the light
Do I stay or do I run?
From the things I did last night
The shadows hide my secrets well
But yet they quench my thirst
I couldn't stop, I love the smell
It's not my fault I'm cursed
Soon they'll find the corpse I left
Her heart ripped from her chest
They'll try to solve this gruesome theft
I wish them all the best
My lips still carry the crimson stains
Sweet nectar from the vine
Coursing through the human's veins
To me it tastes like wine
They'll lock their windows and bar the door
But then they'll drop like flies
For it will only make me want them more
Then everybody dies

Hm... Grusome, but overall, I loved it. My favorite line is "The shadows hid my secret well"
