Reasons WhyA Poem by Lastwords187Poem about life, death, and a little bit of hope
he shields his eyes, they are his disguise. Horrors from his past, the shadows they cast. Innocence taken so young, now look at what he's become. Everything happens for a reason, payback for all the heathens. Wish just once he could see, just what this world wanted him to be. People come an go, their true colors often show. Its hard to find a place that fits, when your whole heart is screaming its quits. All he wanted was one shot, in this life that's all you really got. Life is far from fair, so you better prepare. Never give up an never back down, not until the day I'm placed into the ground. This is no suicide, just along for the ride. Life's gone in a blink of the eye, hold those tears don't you cry..this is no lullaby. These are my words my voice, listen or not that's your choice. I'm here to stay, come at me or go the f**k away. Imma live until I die, these are my own reasons why.
