When It Gets Tough

When one has dreams but that comes a time when those dreams realisation seems to be endangered...

I have dreams, wishes of all kinds.
I see them in colour and full bright.
It takes me strongly to the core
Until things get tough.

Those dreams I nourish dearly,
I can feel them more and more
And I can't wait to make them true
When suddenly, things get tough.

The dreams and wishes became real.
I got attached to them in the process.
They made me smile, giggle and laugh
And sadly, things got tough.

What if I'm not allowed to realise them?
What if all this is simply an illusion?
What if I've cared too much about them?
To feel like it's confusing and tough...
