A short poem based on a conversation I had. If you wish me to name you, all you have to do is ask!

I didn’t mean for things to turn out this way

It was simple

But I suppose not

I won’t ask for forgiveness anymore

Because I only hurt you

So if you must leave me behind

To take care of your memories

You don’t even have to ask

I’ll be right here

Waiting
