Iris

Iris

A Poem by Vertigo

To be as small as a star reflected in your iris like a pool of water shaded and always rising amidst a dying day with the night distant and frayed. If only I were bright enough to awaken, brimming like a flower connected to the endless constellations living in the light that is cast within your iris.
