The Scarecrow

The Scarecrow

A Poem by Vertigo

Cloaked in shadows
Barely present with lucid eyes
Standing in an open field
Come alive, come alive
Says the wind
As his limbs sway to the lonely howl
If only, if only he would say
Silently.

I really enjoyed this. It's creative and it flows well. I liked the line:
"As his limbs sway to the lonely howl"
Nicely done.
