The World Is Gray

The World Is Gray

A Poem by Vertigo

 The sun hasn't risen

And it is getting late
My eyes fade
Into the gray skies
The colorless light enfolds me
Profound
But unsure
My irises unfold in this gray world
Bordering the shores
That surround my mind
How lightness could fade
Is a mystery
For everything is made universal
And bound
But the light, the light
Continues to breathe into the gray.

Hmmm, I don't know what to say other than that I really enjoyed this! Very descriptive in how you write this and I enjoy this very much. That uncertainty we all fall into at some point and time, very nice write!!
