Like a phoenixA Poem by VertigoThe countless wings Of a sudden day dream
With-held in sun beams
That fall through tree tops
And I am aware
Unwavering
Watching every movement
Of sound
I could fly
With these broken wings
Singed on the edges
Dare I rise
Above in lightness
In soundless fire
And everlasting ash
Like a phoenix
