What is happiness?

you are in charge of your own happiness.

Can someone tell me what is happiness?

Some say it is a feeling of ecstasy,

Some say it is eternal bliss,

I say it is the simple things we ignore and take for granted.

 

Spending time with family,

laughing through the fights,

watching your fiance when he is totally unaware,

these little things,

contribute to my delight.

 

I have learned that I cannot live my life to please no one,

cause all it does is lead to misery.

Do not depend on anyone for your hapiness,

cause only you are in charge of this.

 

Hapiness is a choice we make each day,

Sit down and feel sorry for yourself,

Or go out and make things happen.

To all those in abusive relationships,

you deserve more,

do not let anyone mistreat you,

stand up yourself,

and then you will experience true happiness.
