A unique format made this fun to read.....the stanzas in red, to me, are like a narrator speaking his piece, and then his voice fades away in time for the vignettes of dialogue.
I can easily see this acted out on a stage with spot lighting alternating between Jane & John Doe and the narrator, who is off to the side.
A wonderfully insightful write about the cycles of love and human relationships.
I like the way you fill in between the lines of your poem
with the dialogue of the unknown , yet very familiar couples,
who can be found in any part of the world,
Love begins of innocence, nothing short of harmlessCraving sense of mystery,
passing boundaries, no expectations Desire to please;
you do not want to possess
Engulfed in Flames of shadowed passions, your heart at rest!
dearest Legacy the above lines extracted the assense of true love indeed
when we start to love someone , we're attracted not with visual effects
but with our inner innocence of pure nature , then we're curious to know
more about this particular being, we wish to make the other side of us to be
pleased & satisfied in every way we can , you must not expect nothing and yet have it all.
you really captured true eternal love features, at least love that exists forever
& mingles with your soul.
I think perhaps being an anomally in the world i am the wrong person to look at this; however I did like the format and the questions asked- this peice really makes the reader think and I believe true artful writing does one of two things it let's the reader escape reality for a while or it makes them examine their life and seek the truth within; this is one of the later type and I think you did very well.
I'm not really sure what to think of this one. I've never seen the style before. I saw a lot of passion, a lot of longing, and two sides to the same coin of feelings. I would have to agree that this work could be shown on stage, perhaps scene in a tragic play you might write some day. Seems to be a longing for older styles of story telling. The eternal stage of love. We act out what we think it should be, but its only our point of view we see. (Didn't mean to ryhme) :P In one instance we see her view and longings, in his we see a more carefree stream of thoughts and a willingness to let go so easily. Honestly, I think I liked this new style. But since it is a new style, there is really no way for me to give any advice about it.
The format worked for me. I can see how it might be jarring to some readers. I imagine you're aiming at a more sophisticated audience anyway. Your use if language was excellent. Very unique piece. Great job.
Awesome format. That was some powerful poetry. Made me reminisce the hard times I had been through. I really loved it. Powerful, true and deep. Great work legacy.
I like the style of it. The way you put examples of a man and woman going through the phases of love and getting your message through in different colors and fonts.
My opinion on love is this: If BOTH can be true, respectful, and willing to work hard to achieve it, love can be Gods greatest gift to any of us. But if only one is trying it will never work!! NEVER!!
It takes TWO.
I enjoyed the format of this. It was like an opera (if you don't speak the language in which it is performed) or a ballet. It has a great mix of literal and metaphorical elements that give it a little something for everyone. It's quite beautiful.
This is very unique--I don't think I've ever read anything quite like this before..format or otherwise. It's very powerful and beautiful! It invoked alot of emotion and thought from me---something not many do! ;)
Kudos! This is excellent!
I like this - the rhythm building as you work your way down. My favorite passage - favorite line being... Go ahead and take another picture off the wall.

Relationships often begin with joyous wide-eyed naivete then often end in disillusionment, bitterness and dispair. The initial aura of magic seems to fade somewhere in the day-to-night processes of existence. We have all experienced the feeling of being totally captivated and enamored by strangers, who, after a few weeks of relationship, cause us to wonder what we ever saw in them.
I think you have captured this beautifully.
