Write of a breath

To fill a soul conjured

Through quills

Of ages past.

Strike the ink,

Bold and black,

To beckon

Fiction into fact.

Give meaning

To the page

With words of wit,

Wisdom and wile.

Turn the phrase.

Invoke with sound

What pen creates

Through flourished style.

Defy and deny

The confines of the lines,

The bars that encompass

Thoughts expressed.

Create the debate

'Tween God and Man,

The writ of life.

Mortality suppressed.

 

 

Write!

Creator of breath.

Write!

Conqueror of death.
