The Willow WeepsA Poem by LegionLife through a tree.
The Willow Weeps The willow sees, Its sight saturated with the sadness Of living, Seeing that which Stains the soil with sorrow And scorn. The willow sways, Its limbs encumbered by the entropy Of living, Feeling that which Ferments and feeds, with ferocity, On felicity. The willow bleeds, Its apparation appalled at the apathy Of living, Believing in those That belied and beguiled. Its heart burdened. The willow weeps, Its tears tainted with the turpitude Of living. Withering away. Worn and weary within, Wasted without. Legion 4Feb03 © 2008 Legion |
