A HOBBIT HOLE (described by an engineer)A Story by QuickbeamAn engineer playing around with the introduction to the Hobbit.
In a void below ground level resided a man small in stature (approximately 1.1m from hairy feet to top of unkempt hair).
Not a dirty void, failing all hygiene standards, damp due to poor waterproof construction, with bare rusty steel column supports.
Nor a dry dusty concrete-lined hole with non-compliant furniture and insufficient food storage.
It was a small man's household unit, and that means a hand dug hole to building code requirements (comfort) © 2017 Quickbeam |
