Funny Bunny

Will the Bunny learn from her mistakes? I hope so.

Funny Bunny

Nibbles was a funny bunny,
who liked to paint her nails.
Every time she finished one,
she’d wag her little tail.

She painted them every day until,
her jar was nearly empty.
Then went into her masters tin and said,
“Yippee, there’s plenty”.

For weeks she painted and slapped it on,
until she got it right.
She had ten layers of nail polish,
which stood out in the light.

But Nibbles found it hard to walk,
because it was so thick.
She had to crawl around her cage,
until she found a stick.

“Opppssss, I think I’ve used to much,
my little toes are sore.
Little is good, too much is bad”,
she gave her friend a call.

Her master said, “Here you go,
I’m sure that this will work.
Here’s a jar that will remove that stuff,
and then your toes won’t hurt”.

Late that arvo, in her box,
Nibbles was feeling glad.
“Next time, I’ll use a little bit,
too much is very bad”.

Thank you Sharon for your kind words. I would love to create a book, but I don't know what to do to be honest. Arvo? We use this here in Australia often. It is short for afternoon. eg. I'll do in this arvo.

Cheers! Sharon. Yes, I do know one needs illustration (naturally), but where to go regarding that one ... I cannot seem to get any answers.

Some publishers will provide their own illustrators. As for self-publishing, I don't know...
