I Believe

I believe in magic

it’s true, I do

I believe in me

I believe in you

I believe in Santa

in faith, and Christ

I believe in goodness of life

when life is hard

I pray harder

I am no better

or worse

than any other

we are all different and the same

we all have love and pain

why belittle, when we can lift

why take, when we can gift

the world is huge

but the world is small

we have been given the strength

to love all

I believe in love

I believe in magic

but I’m just one girl

is my idea so tragic
