Hard To Love

I'm hard to love
I know, it's true

no disillusion
confusion

Men have tried
have cried
pounded their chest
confessed

And I

untouchable
unreachable
bleeding
weeping

scars ripped open

unable
unstable
unwilling

to move

holding tight to a lie
I know is true

fear

deception
perception

of wrong when it's right
mind grounded
heart in flight

hard to love
hard to leave
unwilling to believe
