if I could

I’d save the world

wipe out illness and despair

if I could

I’d fix broken hearts

bring loved ones

close, rather than apart

if I could

I’d make the blind to see

the deaf to hear

if I could

I would stop time

dance all day

listen to each word you had to say

if I could

I surely would

have you speak to me
