A Wish or A Dream

I had a dream

or maybe a wish

I’m not sure

really, which

you took my hand

led me to the dance floor

the song playing

we’d heard before

you held me close

and we turned and twirled

in that moment

it was just you and I

in this world

just a boy

just a girl

just music

turns and twirls

maybe it’s a wish

maybe it’s a dream

maybe it’s exactly

as it seems
