poignant and scary; yet I can help but fill my being with an over whelming feeling of emphaty for the poor winged creature! A fantastic skill you have displayed in few words!
I watch the birds coming to the feeders here and wonder how when it hits -33 degrees here at night in this very snowy place, how do they not freeze to death. God must have given then an inside heater or something..Valentine
even the smallest death looms large in its own right...often the term is used "you eat like a bird" to describe how someone eats so little, and yet, a bird eats how many times its own weight.
every life matters, no matter how small in physical, mental or emotional size.
you take the skin off of things and allow us keen insight into life.
