Prolific

Prolific

A Poem by LeslieNoel
"

I write a lot of poetry!

"
The words that come out of my mind are prolific
They come tumbling out
Like water from a spigot
turned on full blast
If I don't write them down fast enough
They'll run down the drain
and the words will be lost in vain
That's why I carry a notebook
with me at all times
That way I'll sneakily catch all the rhymes
as they flow from the faucet
that is my open mind

This was a nice, simple poem about what it's like to be a writer. I think many of us on this site can relate to this poem, especially when you describe carrying a notebook with you everywhere you go. It is a clever comparison to describe ideas and words as water running down a drain.

One thing I suggest you consider in revision is using punctuation. I think it would make the flow a lot clearer. It would also help the reader identify where one idea begins and another ends.

All in all, good work! I hope this review is helpful!
