I apologize

And you rub it in 

Reminding me over and over again 

Isn't it enough 

That I apologized?

Why criticize?

Try to familiarize yourself

With what I've been big enough to do 

Why do you repeat my offense?

Don't you think it builds a wall of defense

If you ask me, you're dense

It appears that the apology is not enough. It doesn't seem to have been accepted and whatever it was that caused the problem remains. I think it takes guts to apologise. I sense the anger here.
