A Rose So Sweet

A rose so sweet,

Its petals in bloom,

Reminds me of someone I lost too soon.

The flower glistens just like her heart;

It is sad that now we must part.

Her beauty lives on in flowers like these,

And each holds a special memory

Of the woman who shared

Her name with the rose.

She’s reborn each time a flower grows

And out of the soil it proudly shows.
