Simple Living

There’s something calm and serene

about this splendid nature scene:

rolling hills,

cloudless skies,

a treat for my own tired eyes.

A different place from whence I’ve come

may not be interesting to some,

but to me this calming and peaceful place

replaces hurrying with a steadier pace.

Drink long and deep from simple living;

in small ways, life keeps on giving.
