Inch Worm BuddyA Poem by LeslieNoelInchworm Buddy Little inchworm friend crawled upon my hand as I floated around the river bend. Green in color, antennae quiver, tiny feet crawling to escape the heat. I rescued him from a watery grave, scooped him up " a ride I gave. I paddled to the shore and left him at nature’s door, on a wooden branch, gnarled just so, worn smooth by the river’s flow. Safe and sound, he has found a place to be " warm and dry, on a limb nearby. © 2025 LeslieNoel |
