Gray WinterA Poem by LeslieNoelGray Winter The wind howls through the trees, invisible and chafing. Dark and dense lies the countryside, where the canal twists and turns- waters rush and churn. Gray meets the landscape, from sky to stream, blending into one cognizant shape. The melancholy of this picture raises the hairs on the nape of my neck. Winter can wreck even the liveliest of souls. © 2025 LeslieNoel |
