Waiting

Waiting

Waiting can be an abyss,

a swirling, twirling,

endless tunnel-

a kaleidoscope effect

of confusing, frustrating

thoughts,

emotions.

I feel locked

in the fabric of time,

enveloped in this frustration of mine,

waiting for the cycle to break.

I hope it does soon-

for my own sake.
