Bloom

Bloom

A Poem by LeslieNoel

Bloom

I can tell

from the gentle smell-

spring has sprung again.

The flowers bloom

to the bird’s sweet croon

here, where nature reigns.

Buzzing bees

on the blowing breeze

flit from flower to flower,

and from the sky

comes tumbling down

an April springtime shower.

The willow’s branches sweep the ground,

scattered on a grassy mound.

Dandelions are always found-

some to smell and some to blow,

their seeds will take root and grow.

Spring is a time to prosper and bloom,

when nature steps from her wintry tomb.

So breathe in deep the perfumed air-

and live your life without a care.
