Dreaded DiseaseA Poem by LeslieNoel
Dreaded Disease
Dreaded disease, alive and strong. Devoid of body, it only takes up residence inside my head. It’s fed by the memories of a long time past- a once upon a time that didn’t last, except in my age-old existence. Its strong, pointed persistence only succeeds in its insistence because I let it live rent-free in my conscience. © 2025 LeslieNoel |
