Troubled Young Man

He needs to upgrade his life,

and yet he knows not how.

The way he is living causes a certain amount of strife.

He desperately wants to move on,

like a train moving down its tracks.

He’s tired of these anxiety attacks

that come from his misguided childhood triggers.

He’ll put on his hardhat and become a furious digger.

The thorns that stick and prick his vulnerable heart

go right back to the start

of where it all began-

that made him such a troubled young man.
