Writing

It’s stupid how often I neglect writing.

When I don’t write, I feel the regret.

It’s oxygen

and medicine

rolled into one.

Doing it adds a measure of fun.

Words are like sugar,

sweet in my mind.

When I engage,

I often find

that I’m much more balanced,

well-rounded, and free,

searching for a healthier me.
