Halloween Night

Step outside into the dark of night.

Be wary now of Halloween fright.

Ghosts and goblins haunt around;

the devil is nowhere to be found,

and yet his influence can still be felt

in tricks that are often dealt

on All Hallows’ Eve.

Once the night has passed,

we can once again breathe-

we’ve escaped the devil’s wrath.
