I've been going through some tough stuff lately

Moonlight in the night sky

Calms the souls of misty eyes

While tears are shed

We're captured by dread

After saying a last goodbye

Very powerful words. Captures a moment in time susinctly.

As much as this poem is awesome on many levels, it does fall flat a tad on musicality. Line 1 could do with one syllable more, and line 4 could with one less, and line five: "a" could be "our" (though this doesn't have to change, I just find it a more powerful image). Just some thoughts, you may do with them as you will.
