Evan's Poem

I wrote this poem for the guy I've been in love with for four years!

I have something to say

But I'm afraid you might run away

maybe I will, in my own way

I love how you make me feel

because it always feels unreal

my heart skips a beat

because your so sweet

I never can wait to see you

because your true

when I'm blue

But now I see your pain

because she played a hurtful game

that you could never tame

I hate to say, it took its toll

but man i wish she hadn't stole

that beautiful heart you hold

Please just know I never would

and never could

hurt a thing like you

You mean the world to me

and i cant wait to be

back in your warm embrace

I never have let my heart unfold

and never has its story been told

even with every waking emotion in my mold.

But your smile is true

when I'm down and feeling blue

your eyes twinkle

like the rain when it sprinkles

You catch me when I fall

and you hold me when i bawl

Looking at you melts my heart

I don't know where to start

Soft beautiful eyes

that I watched once cry

it broke my heart to see you try

Through the ups and downs

you've always been around

holding me tight

even if we just had a fight

your the one i always want in my sight

I want you with all my might

you make me smile

as my heart runs a mile

That's what I wish to say

but I just pray,

that you wont run away.
